Karen spent 20 years in the public health sector as a Social Worker before changing her career path to working with dogs.  She has been training, teaching, competing, and titling for the past 16 years.  

 

She works extensively with owners on how to provide black and white clear communication to their dog, and how to manage the pack in a multi-dog household.

 

Karen is the primary trainer for all of the Board and Train clients, and has been told on more than one occasion "You're a miracle worker".

 

She is also a UKC Nosework Judge and she plans, organizes, and competes in nosework trials in the Central Texas area.

 

She currently trains, competes, and titles in Agility, Disc, Nosework, IPO, Mondioring and Dock Diving.

 

Karen is also the founder of  San Gabriel Dock Divers
